A Great nature scene with those lovely swans. The composition of various colours is very appealing. Its nice that you can follow the evolution of the family.

Thank you very much Yves. I try to keep up with the activity on several trumpeter swan nesting sites. Some are difficult to photograph due to a distance factor, but this marsh provides easier access and just the right surroundings to photograph them in.

Terrific shot of the swan family and the habitat around them Heather. The marsh is so pretty with the calm water and the reflection of the family and the marsh grasses. Very nice lighting and composition. They certainly do grow fast.

Thank you very much Debra. This is a really nice corner of the marsh and I think their nest is located behind it, well hidden from view. It was just good to finally see them again after several misses :)

Description
I came along at just the right time on Sunday as the swans headed across the marsh toward their feeding area. The six cygnets took on a good feed while one of the adults kept a watchful eye on me and their surroundings. The cygnets have more than tripled in size since I first spotted them on June 30th.
